Bowed Rental Pricing

3-Month Minimum Initial Rental Required on all New Rentals.
After initial rental period, you can rent in 1-, 3-, 6- or 9-month increments. (Discounts given for 6- and 9-month paid-in-advance rentals!)

Violin Rental Pricing

I hand inspect and play every instrument before it makes it into our rental fleet.- Christine

The High Strung Rental Violin: Nice-playing, good-sounding violins with quality Prelude strings. Bows are either carbon fiber, wood or Glasser fiberglass. At this level, we have a mix of new instruments and older instruments in good shape.

$25 per month for 4/4, 3/4, and 1/2 sizes.
$20 per month for 1/4 and smaller sizes.

The High Strung Premium Rental Violin:
Great-sounding, handsome instruments with Dominant Strings. With an upgraded bow. (Way above your average rental instrument.)

$35 per month for 4/4, 3/4, and 1/2 sizes.
$25 per month for 1/4 and smaller sizes.

Perfection Pegs:
Perfection pegs are a geared tuner available on many of our instruments. They make tuning *so* easy.

$5 additional per month for 4/4, 3/4, and 1/2 sizes.

Wal-Mart/Target/Internet Quality Rentals - No No No!!!

Students need a decent instrument to ensure a good start. The old adage "you get what you pay for" was never truer than on violins. An $89 violin is *not* a playable instrument and is an impediment to learning. "Fuhgeddaboutit."

Cello Rental Pricing

The need for a decent instrument is vital the cello - it's such a big instrument that any flaw is a big flaw, and presents a big problem for the student.

We rent only quality cellos, appropriate for students to learn and enjoy the instrument.

The High Strung Rental Cello:
Very well set-up, good-sounding Chinese instruments with quality Prelude student strings, glasser or fiberglass bow, and cello bag.

$50 per month.

The Premium Rental Cello:
Great Sounding, well set-up European or Chinese made instruments with Helicoer Strings, better wood or carbon fiber bows, and a padded cello bag.

$60 per month.

Viola Rental Pricing

The High Strung Rental Viola:
Very well set-up, good-sounding Chinese instruments with quality Prelude student strings, glasser or fiberglass bow, and case.

$30 per month, 14" or smaller.
$35 per month, 15" or larger.

The Premium Rental Viola:
Great Sounding, well set-up European or Chinese made instruments with Helicoer Strings, better wood or carbon fiber bows, and a nice case.

$35 per month, 14" or smaller.
$40 per month, 15" or larger
